What with all the high winds lately I hope the 'powers that be' don't develop a shark cull mentality with trees.  Without the trees I wouldn't have had this beautiful pair in my front garden on New Year's Day.
It was fascinating to watch the baby wander from the safety of mother's back to branches far higher up the tree, which were, to my mind, very unsafe.  I kept thinking "Wake up, go and get him/her!"  All was well and much later in the day they left.
