"Camshootu3asa" is the blog of Campbelltown SA University of the Third Age (U3A) Photoshoot Group.
Each month, during term time, we meet at an agreed location to spend an hour or so taking photographs followed by morning coffee at a nearby coffee shop. Members of the group are encouraged, but not obliged, to post a selection of their "shots" on the blog each month.

Every which way but straight

So many angles
Fountains and rainbows

Colourful curved steps

Even the lockers are colourful

Black lights to eat by

Seating for the non-active patrons

Get blasted with air while watching the action. Also cools the coffee.

Stripes in glass to stop you walking through it.

Not part of the climbing equipment.

Very impressive building.

Rate payers money well spent me thinks.

From every angle the new ARC is impressive - Robin

From every angle the new ARC is impressive

A smiling welcome

Have a swim with the kids

Or maybe, do some serious laps

Fitness is the key if you weigh things up

You can always ride in the Tour de Arc

Possibly avoid the torture chamber aka gym

You could go in for some serious courting

Or climb a wall or two

How about a Wedding or bar mitzvah?

After all the exercise a lie down in the sick bay may be a good idea

Or perhaps try some mysterious Scandinavian ritual

And finish off in the cafe de arc

ARC - from all angles it is impressive - Vale

The Atrium of the new Aquatic and Recreation Centre (ARC) at Campbelltown. Officially opened last Sunday 24 July.

A red, black and white theme inside and out, hard edged but a great new space to be in!!

Juxtaposition of Old and New - Vale

The aboriginal paintings above are on doors from the old Yuendamu School and are significant as they represent the first time elders allowed sacred stories to be interpreted on a public building.

View from the Art Gallery Cafe an eclectic mix of old and new!
