Playground for all ages - Thorndon Park - Vale

 For our February "Photo-shoot" members took a look at the new Playground features on offer at Thorndon Park and found lots to amuse both young and old.

Lightsview - patterns by Vale

Our last Photo-shoot for the year was on a cold, cloudy November morning in the newer part of Lightsview, a hard edged and modern suburb, filling in Government owned land that was designated originally to house an Athlete's Village, had we won a bid, back in the mists of time, for The Commonwealth Games. We warmed up first with some coffee and conversation at Jibbi & Co.

It was very welcome coffees all round

I hope that was not the tap for coffee water

Even the playground is styled

Living in tiny boxes

All very hard edge just now

And that is what he thought about that!
